My Story

I have always been mesmerized by color. When 2 or more colors work together harmoniously and make you say “AH HAH!”… that’s the jolt I’m always striving for in my artwork.

My mom will proudly tell you that it was all those years of doing art projects with my sister and me, obsessively “scratching” with my markers day in and day out that led me to become a public school art teacher for 7 years. Seeing art exploration through a child’s eyes has always motivated me to continue my own creations, but it wasn’t until I found myself stuck in a horrible rut of multiple foot surgeries over a 6 year span that painting became part of my daily life again. The paintings and gallery of work you see on my website are a result of me finding my way through life…One color at a time.

I live with my husband, two daughters, and three dogs in Worthington, Ohio. Currently, I am an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist by day and an artist in every other spare moment.
